Abstract: This research investigated the conditioning factors influencing the adoption of Artificial&#xD;
Intelligence (AI) in the practices of advertising agencies in the municipality of Varginha-MG.&#xD;
A qualitative approach was adopted via a multiple case study, involving semi-structured&#xD;
interviews with managers and employees from 10 agencies, selected from a universe of 29&#xD;
organizations identified under CNAE code 7311-4/00. The analysis combined content analysis&#xD;
techniques, following Bardin (2011), and multivariate lexical analysis using Iramuteq&#xD;
software, grounded in a qualitative adaptation of the integrated framework by Awa et al.&#xD;
(2017), which organizes factors into technological, organizational, environmental, individual,&#xD;
and task-related contexts. The results revealed that AI has established itself as an operational&#xD;
and strategic support resource, acting as an advanced analytical support that amplifies&#xD;
productive capacity. In the organizational context, a "reverse catalyst" phenomenon was&#xD;
identified, wherein the small size of the agencies acted as a driver for adoption to achieve&#xD;
scale and competitiveness against major players. In the environmental scope, the practice of&#xD;
"silent adoption" was observed, in which the technology is widely utilized in internal&#xD;
processes but concealed from clients due to normative pressures valuing artisanal and&#xD;
humanized work. The research contributes to the literature by providing interpretative&#xD;
corroboration for the framework in a regional study and to professional practice by&#xD;
demonstrating that AI effectiveness relies on human curation and the fit between task&#xD;
complexity and technical competence, overcoming cultural and ethical barriers.

      <title>A EDUCAÇÃO INCLUSIVA NO CONTEXTO MUNICIPAL DE FORTALEZA: ENTRE DESAFIOS E POSSIBILIDADES</title>

Abstract: This dissertation, developed within the Graduate Program in Management and Regional Development at the Centro Universitário do Sul de Minas (UNIS-MG), and linked to Research Line II – Educational Processes and Development, analyzes the perceptions, expectations, and challenges experienced by teachers and mothers of children with disabilities regarding the implementation of inclusive education in a municipal school in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, relating this reality to regional development. Grounded in the theoretical frameworks of inclusive education, the social model of disability, and intersectionality, the study assumes that school inclusion processes are shaped by multiple social markers, including disability, gender, socioeconomic conditions, and access to public policies. This qualitative research employed oral history interviews with nine participants: four mothers of students with disabilities, four regular classroom teachers, and one Special Education Service (AEE) teacher. Data were analyzed through triangulation, integrating theoretical, contextual, and empirical dimensions.&#xD;
The findings reveal that mothers place high expectations on the school as a promoter of their children's integral development. However, their experiences are marked by social vulnerability, caregiving burdens, and limitations associated with economic conditions. Teachers recognize the importance of inclusive education and collaborative planning between regular classrooms and specialized educational support services, while also highlighting challenges related to continuing professional development, workload, insufficient resources, and structural and institutional barriers. The study further demonstrates that family-school relationships are essential for the effective implementation of inclusion, although they are influenced by social inequalities that limit families' active participation in the educational process. The research concludes that the consolidation of inclusive practices requires coordinated actions among schools, families, and the State, as well as investments in teacher education, accessibility, strengthening of Specialized Educational Services (AEE), and the expansion of social protection policies. From an intersectional perspective, school inclusion cannot be understood solely through the lens of disability but must also consider the multiple inequalities that shape individuals' lives. In this sense, the effective implementation of inclusive education contributes to regional development by expanding educational opportunities, strengthening citizenship, promoting social inclusion, and improving public policies aimed at people with disabilities and their families.

Abstract: The following study is part of the line of research “Training Processes and Development” under the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Management and Regional Development at Centro Universitario do Sul de Minas, which seeks to encourage important questions regarding the initial and continued training of teachers active in higher education. This research aims to investigate teaching and learning practices using Active Methodologies in in-person Undergraduate courses at Higher Education Institutions, seeking to map the sociodemographic profile, which Active Methodologies are used by professors and identify what are the main difficulties in relation to work with Active Methodologies. Using a qualitative-quantitative approach, 76 teachers who work in higher education participated in this study, who responded to an online questionnaire. Of these, 20 agreed to participate in a semi-structured interview. The questionnaire data were treated using descriptive statistics. The interviews were transcribed and processed by IRaMuTeq and then analyzed through content analysis technique. The results demonstrated that the participants in this study approve and use Active Methodologies. As there is no standard in the training and development of these professors for the recognition and application of Active Methodologies as a means of promoting meaningful learning, it only demonstrates that the trajectory was unique for each interviewee. The research highlighted the difficulties of student engagement and profile, the specific training of teachers and the infrastructure provided by educational institutions. The Case Study is considered the most used methodology. It is expected that this study will contribute to the field of teacher training, especially with regard to the possibilities of implementing Active Methodologies from an interdisciplinarity perspective and the management of pedagogical processes. It is expected to publish the preliminary and final results of this research at scientific events and in national and international journals.

Abstract: This dissertation aimed to investigate population displacement and the migration process of&#xD;
women to the United States, addressing more specifically how this migratory flow has been&#xD;
occurring in the southern region of Minas Gerais, what challenges they face, what motivates&#xD;
them to immigrate to the United States, especially to the Florida region, and their experiences&#xD;
in this process, which is known to be challenging. International migrations are formed based on&#xD;
specific historical conditions in particular socioeconomic contexts. Within these migratory&#xD;
processes, which continue to this day, it is important to highlight those carried out by women,&#xD;
whose search for development leads them to leave their country of origin and seek better&#xD;
conditions in other countries, especially the United States. The research presents a gender&#xD;
perspective, highlighting women, who seek better living and working conditions in countries&#xD;
with larger economies, such as the United States. This process also reveals a complex path full&#xD;
of adversities, both in the migration process itself and in living abroad and ensuring better social&#xD;
and financial conditions. The specific objectives of the research were: to identify the facilitating&#xD;
and hindering factors in the process of displacement of women from Minas Gerais with regard&#xD;
to issues of gender, race, ethnicity, social class, age, education and regionalisms; to understand&#xD;
the motivations and experiences of women from Minas Gerais in the displacement process; to&#xD;
identify the perceptions of women from Minas Gerais regarding relations between Brazil and&#xD;
the United States with respect to immigration. Methodologically, this was a qualitative research&#xD;
approach using Oral History. The instrument was a guided interview in which 10 women who&#xD;
migrated from the south of Minas Gerais-BR to Florida-USA were interviewed. The data&#xD;
produced were analyzed using the triangulation technique, which articulates the narratives, the&#xD;
context and dialogues with authors who study the emerging themes of the narratives. As a result,&#xD;
it was noted that women migrate in search of better cultural, financial and social conditions.&#xD;
There was no single pattern regarding motivation or difficulties of immigration, but a series of&#xD;
factors related to the personal characteristics of each interviewee. It was realized, however, that&#xD;
despite the difficulties with the English language and adapting to the new culture, they have no&#xD;
interest in returning to Brazil.
