An aggravating case of the neighborhood in question is with its drainage system already in its capacity at the project limit as well as not consistent with the current needs (flow / storage), resulting in the return of rainwater via wolf mouths. The side effects of the failed drainage system directly affect the population, either with financial loss or the spread of disease. For this situation faced by residents of Jardim América, this study aims to analyze the structural problem of drainage, and thus propose a solution or resource that minimizes the damage caused by the local drainage deficit.
