AVALIAÇÃO SUPERFICIAL DE PATOLOGIAS EM PAVIMENTO FLEXÍVEL: Estudo de caso em um trecho da Av. Celina Ferreira Otoni, Varginha , MG

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the pathologies existing on flexible pavements and the techniques used to recover them. Visual surveys and analyzes of numerous pathologies found in an urban street in the municipality of Varginha in the state of Minas Gerais were carried out. For analysis, photographic reports, vehicle counting, laboratory tests and analysis of the road structure were performed. This analysis is due to the fact of the intense number of vehicles circulating on this road and the considerable increase of vehicles with increased load capacity or excess weight transported by vehicles, aggravated by the lack of inspection within the urban perimeter, causing numerous pathologies in the asphalt coating. This purpose will be achieved through survey of field data and results of laboratory tests, as well as bibliographic research and a comparison of the existing pavement structure with the current need. After analyzing the data, it is evident that the road may have been designed according to the need and with a forecast for reasonable growth, however with the change in traffic and the increase in cargo vehicles, the road would need structural reinforcement to guarantee longer service life.SURFACE EVALUATION OF PATHOLOGIES IN FLEXIBLE FLOORING Case study in a section of Av.
