ISSO É MUITO BLACK MIRROR: Correlações entre teoria, reportagens jornalísticas e episódios da série Black Mirror

Abstract

This monograph presents a comparative analysis between theories associated with communication and technology, news reports and episodes of the Black Mirror series, which revolve around issues related to monitoring, privacy, fake news, digital torture, social relations in cyberspace and liquid modernity. Such an approach is necessary, since gradually, the relationship between theoretical discussions and news facts begins to match up with narratives presented in the fictional series. The purpose of this work is to take the reader to reflection and show the impacts caused by the troubled human / technology relationship, which are presented in a blunt in the episodes of the Black Mirror series. Note the growth in the use of technologies in simple daily tasks, however, this fact exposes the immersion and dependence of the human being in relation to processes mediated by digital devices. The analysis, therefore, clarifies similarities between the facts that occurred in different parts of the world, with the approach apocalyptic of the series, bringing to light the idea that, due to the gravity of the consequences of human / technology relations, we are very close to the representation fictional, attributed by many as something distant and improbable.
