Abstract

This bibliographic review article presents some considerations about the Influence of digital media in child development. Therefore, its purpose is to identify possible benefits and harms in the use of electronic equipment used by young children. The research presents itself initially with some considerations about the Definition and Conception of Digital Media. It discusses the importance of media in the school environment and also some considerations on Media Definition and Conception, pointing out later a brief report on the studies carried out by some authors on the importance of media in the school environment. Therefore, media are learning instruments that are being used more and more in the school environment.
