Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of philosophy in the early years of elementary school, it is believed that philosophical reflection is not accepting the concept already imposed by society and culture. One of the objectives for which it is assumed the importance of the study of Philosophy for Children in elementary education from the early years, is proposed for the development of ethical, autonomous, creative, based on the pursuit of conflicting solutions in construction work strategies, divergent ideas and cooperative sense to face different situations and problems and are essential to help children think for themselves. Children become more critical when they realize their ability to reflect and analyze. perceiving thus the importance of teacher mediation to an investigative dialogue. For the success of the work will be performed theoretical and bibliographical research on the topic discussed.
