BRINCAR: UMA LINGUAGEM INFANTIL- CONTRIBUIÇÕES PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO SOCIAL

Abstract

The theme of this paper is ``Play: A child’s language - Contributions to socialDevelopment” However, I delimit the research to children aged from 2 to 7 years old, because in this period, playing is fundamental for their development. Playing is inherent to childhood, games occur as a natural activity, therefore, they can be meaningful to the child. Such an approach is necessary due to its importance in the field of Education. Early childhood education is the first stage of childrens basic education, it is a time to expand social relationships, provide interactions and travel through the world of imagination and fantasies. The objective of this research is to know the contributions of playing in the socialization process, since playing is a fundamental activity in the development of abilities, as well as acting in a relevant way in the development of autonomy and identity. This purpose will be achieved through the bibliographical review that is being based on research and reflection on the reading of books, websites and articles, as well as a research of authors referring to this topic. The analysis showed that playing contributes to the social and intellectual development of children, being able to perform better in several aspects, such as attention, memory, imitation, imagination, also providing the child with the development of personality areas such as affectivity, motricity, intelligence, sociability and creativity.
