ANÁLISE DE CUSTOS E VIABILIDADE ENTRE O SISTEMA DRYWALL E ALVENARIA CONVENCIONAL COMO ELEMENTOS DE VEDAÇÃO INTERNA NA CONSTRUÇÃO DE UM EDIFÍCIO RESIDENCIAL NA CIDADE DE VARGINHA/MG

Abstract

The search for alternative methods in civil construction has increased a lot in recent years. This is entirely related to the modernization of activities and the pursuit of implementing systems that are as safe and efficient as the traditional one. In addition, there is a need to implement different processes that provide a reduction in the execution time, minimization of general costs of a work, flexibility of spaces, among others. Given this reality, this study aims to compare the costs and feasibility of two methods, Drywall and conventional masonry, for the internal fences of a residential building in the city of Varginha/MG, in addition to mentioning the types of plates most used in constructions and their locations application specifics, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of both systems. This information will be obtained through bibliographic research, such as articles, monographs, theses and norms, as well as consultations in cost composition tables used in civil construction, which will be cited throughout the study. In the final considerations, it is understood that before choosing the material, it is necessary to carry out a thorough planning and analyze some important factors, such as deadlines to be met, amounts available for investment and availability of labor services.
