A INFLUÊNCIA DA LITERATURA INFANTIL NA FORMAÇÃO DE LEITORES

Abstract

If you are reading this article today, it is because you had a literary training, which made you able to read. Thus, you can see a little piece of the importance that literature has in our lives. This article aims to substantiate how important Children's Literature is for the formation of student readers, confirming its various contributions from its daily and habitual use in schools everywhere. The development of reading should always be stimulated from an early age, with the necessary support from the family and educators. It is believed that if an individual has free access and stimuli to read from an early age, he will probably become a reader, having in his essence criticality, humanized consciousness and the ability to be creative and dream. The methodology used in this article was bibliographic research. The result obtained in the present work is that the literature has humanizing potential. Through literary plots, the student expands the ability to understand the dilemmas present in the world. It is concluded, therefore, that with children's literature, the individual becomes a reader and can observe the world with new eyes.
