DESAFIOS E DIFICULDADES DA FAMÍLIA E ESCOLA COM A CRIANÇA COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA

Abstract

The inclusion of people with disabilities, disorders or learning difficulties is provided for by law. Therefore, the objective of this article is to research how schools should treat students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) based on current legislation and how the family can contribute to the school. This work was carried out with bibliographical research. The data shows that there are many difficulties and challenges and that to minimize them, the student must be included in the regular classroom and, when necessary, have professional support. In relation to the family, it is necessary to establish a partnership so that at home, they can continue with their work, contributing to the teaching/learning process.
