A PERCEPÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO FRENTE ÀS COMISSÕES INTRA-HOSPITALARES

Abstract

This study sought to unveil the nurses' perception regarding intra-hospital commissions. This is a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory study with a content analysis of Bardin, carried out with 33 nurses from July to September 2016, in a medium-sized general hospital in the South of Minas Gerais, where it was approved by the committee of ethics, under the opinion nº: 1.677.189. After analyzing the data, five categories of analysis were created in order to answer the guiding question and the research objectives. The data showed that the participation of the nurses in the study was significant, considering that all the interviewees participate in some in-hospital commission, however it is believed that there is a lack of incentive, since the meetings are scheduled outside the work, and also, that there is no remuneration for such a function. Finally, it was evident that there are few studies about nurses regarding the activities and functioning of in-hospital committees, and that there is a need for more studies on the subject in order to seek quality in nursing care and improvements with the hospital accreditation.
