A IMPORTÂNCIA DA HUMANIZAÇÃO DA ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM AO PARTO NORMAL

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of a humanized nursing care during normal delivery, specifically dealing with the way professionals provide this assistance, if they know the new labor laws, the interaction of the multiprofessional team, knowledge of the institutional protocols that are some of the factors which provide these professionals with a direction to carry out their daily activities and that will serve as parameters for their activities and increasingly provide the quality of the humanized care provided to pregnant women in the parturients. We directly identify how obstetric nurses are assisting pregnant women and women before, during and after delivery, what they theoretically understand about humanization, what protocols are used in the institution for that case, what care and techniques they use to humanize childbirth, what they have done to provide this assistance, guiding their teams, and what are the limitations that make it impossible to perform better in the quality of care provided. However, with their own reports, even knowing how to do this humanization is not always possible to put them into practice, because they are left with the bureaucratic responsibility and end up passing this care to nursing techniques, being the obstetricians only visiting pregnant women and parturients. Besides the lack of time, there is the problem of the activity of the institution that does not always adhere to these special assistance.
