BONVALE CEMITÉRIO ECUMÊNICO: um elo entre dois mundos

Abstract

This study presents a research project and architectural proposal of a preliminary project for the implantation of an ecumenical cemetery in the city of Três Pontas, Minas Gerais. The development of this project in order to meet the main religious rituals of burial, seeking to diminish the obscure vision of a cemetery and to provide greater comfort to living beings, was the determining factor that guided this study. This objective has been sought through the harmony between the humanization of this proposed space and its functionality, allowing for comfort and efficiency at this moment that becomes delicate, but necessary, for all families. With the population growth of the city and the limitations found in existing public equipment, it is necessary to plan new, more durable solutions that promote quality of life without confronting the culture and values ​​of the society that is there. The methodology used was based on the exploratory and descriptive researches and the preliminary project implementation study, developed in the first stage of the study, culminating at the end of the second stage, in the preliminary project, as foreseen in the general objective.
