ANÁLISE DE PATOLOGIAS OCASIONADAS PELA UMIDADE - ESTUDO DE CASO IMÓVEL RESIDENCIAL NA CIDADE DE CAXAMBU - MINAS GERAIS

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the problems caused by moisture in buildings, their pathological manifestations and the indication of products and methods for treatment. Therefore, biographical research was carried out in standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT, related sites, technical manuals and registration of images made in loco where infiltration and or humidity occur. For data collection, a commercial property was selected in the city of Caxambu - Minas Gerais, where it has certain pathologies, due to the lack of waterproofing, which makes it difficult to repair it, since preventive products and services were exchanged, for example. corrective work, causing work and additional costs to homeowners. With the accomplishment of this work, a greater attention is sought to the theme: waterproofing of buildings, and besides the bad appearance, infiltration problems, bring problems related to the health of the occupants of the buildings. Thus, as a conclusion of this study, it was found that the importance of preventing pathologies through waterproofing and even if the presence of water is inevitable, it is possible to protect the building against infiltration and moisture.
