A IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DA MANUTENÇÃO PRODUTIVA TOTAL (TPM)

Abstract

This work will present a bibliographic research and case studies about the industrial maintenance tool known as Total Productive Maintenance, the TPM. First, a brief study on industrial maintenance will be addressed, which is its current definition, its origin and evolution, its ramifications, objectives and main indicators worked within a company. Subsequently, the work will deepen in the maintenance tool of great importance and success in the current world, the TPM. Its definition, origin and evolution, objectives and results will be studied. Its bases will also be worked on. known as The Eight Pillars of the TPM, in addition to its stages for implementation. As it is a tool that is not much worked on in Brazil, companies still have a mystique about the theme, so the last chapter of this work will bring results from companies that adopt the methodology and what benefits were obtained from its correct implementation. The TPM can bring great results to the company and must be seen with special eyes.
