Abstract

This paper addresses School Inclusion: discussing the development of deaf students in Elementary School I. Discussing the possibilities of deaf students can be included in regular education so that their essential learning rights are guaranteed, this study is justified since the challenges are still countless. The purpose of this study is to identify from the current legislation the guarantee of the rights of the student’s insertion in the school and also, to demonstrate from the literature review situations of inclusion of deaf students in regular education, their advances and setbacks. This task will be accomplished through the bibliographic review carried out by reading scientific works and articles. The research showed the basis for the revision of laws and theorists that emphasize the rights of the deaf student to be able to enter regular education. Also emphasizing the possible contribution of this study to a better understanding of the insertion of the deaf student in regular education and the implementation of the teaching of pounds as a form of educational didactics, so that there is a good position regarding the social inclusion of students with disabilities.
