PROPOSTA PARA APLICAÇÃO DE LOGÍSTICA REVERSA DE EMBALAGENS PÓS-CONSUMO EM UMA INDÚSTRIA DE PET FOOD

Abstract

This article approaches the elaboration of a proposal for the application of reverse logistics of post-consumer packaging in a Pet Food industry. Such an approach is important due to the need to comply with current environmental legislation, in addition to the incorrect disposal of these residues, causing negative environmental impacts and causing the waste of raw materials and energy. The objective of this work is to propose measures for the implementation of the reverse logistics process of post-consumer packaging to reduce and correctly dispose of waste from the studied Pet Food industry. To carry out this article, the methodology of bibliographic research and case study was used. The proposal showed ways to implement reverse logistics, based on the concepts of circular economy so that the company can guarantee a more sustainable and correct business model.
