ÁREA DE PRESERVAÇÃO PERMANENTE: Aspectos Jurídicos

Abstract

The present work has the purpose of addressing the main issues that involve the environmental issue in Brazilian law, more specifically on the issues of treatment of preservation of the environment. In this way, it will be possible to perceive in the course of the narrative presented pertinent questions about the legislation applied to the subject, in order to demonstrate the focuses and the main changes that these institutes have suffered over time. Afterwards, weights will be taken on the institute of permanent preservation areas, their peculiarities and legislative interactions. Demonstrating at all times the need and concern about environmental protection issues. That is why there could be no shortage of explanations about the penalties imposed on the individuals who are going to commit harmful actions against the environment, penalties that could fall both in civil, criminal and administrative courts. All the explanation is necessary to demonstrate the importance of the existing policies of protection, as well as to emphasize the effectiveness in these front to the observed reality.
