RESSOCIALIZAÇÃO: como trabalhos sociais podem recuperar detentos

Abstract

The present work has as its central theme "Ressocialização: how social works can recover inmates and what media interference in this process". The purpose of this study is to investigate the reality of the Brazilian prison system, which in the current way does not recover anybody, since there is no interest and public policies for it and how the process of socialization through social work can change this context. In spite of all this omission of the State, there is still hope, since in several localities good people organize themselves with the objective of rescuing the dignity of those who for some reason are imprisoned of their freedom and also to their families. It is through initiatives of these citizens that entities arise that seek the recovery and resocialization of prisoners, as a way of redemption in order to prepare them for when they fulfill their debt with justice, return to the society of society without the risk of recurring and commit again some offense The present study will be done through the bibliographical research, aiming at finally, to show the results and the importance of the Ressocialization for the inmates through social works and what the interference of the media in this process.
