PLANEJAMENTO DA MANUTENÇÃO PARA AS COLHEITADEIRAS DE CAFÉ

Abstract

The quest for the qualitative and quantitative production of coffee has brought to this sector the introduction of innumerable production mechanisms that help in the planting, harvesting, post-harvesting, processing of the fruit, in short, in all the phases that involve the activity. The logical consequence that permeates this reality is that these mechanisms will work in the way planned and cause a qualification and income of the activities, however, due to the use, or external factors, said mechanisms can come to present defects, which in itself , would entail an engrossment of activity. Improvements must be achieved, the competitiveness that permeates the activity in question does not allow it to be paralyzed due to lack of planning and care for machinery, which is why there is a focus on the strategic areas of production aimed at maintenance. The precepts that will involve it can not be focused solely on the immediate resolution of problems, such as the simple repair of equipment or installations, but should aim to maintain the function of these available for operation. The focus of maintenance needs to be on a long-term basis, thereby reducing to the maximum the likelihood of an unplanned downtime. With this in view, it is considered that this work was elaborated with the objective of analyzing the basic fundamentals of maintenance, in order to observe the effectiveness as it has been developed, so that one can visualize the best way of its application within the activity especially in the case of harvesters.
