ESTUDO DE VERIFICAÇÃO TÉCNICA DO BLOCO DE CONCRETO PARA VEDAÇÃO CONFECCIONADOS COM AGREGADOS DE RESÍDUOS DE CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL NO MUNICÍPIO DE VARGINHA MG

Abstract

The present work pretend to verify, by research, the technique of the concrete block produced with tailings coming from the civil construction for fence. From the point of view of the waste of materials of small and large constructions and their damage for the environment. This article aims to present the experimental evaluation carried out with concrete block produced with aggregate of civil construction waste manufactured in the city of Varginha-MG, having as reference the Brazilian technical standards in force, ABNT NBR 6136: 2016 and ABNT NBR 12118: 2013. In order to carry out the tests, 15 concrete blocks of the 15x40 family with dimensions 14x19x39 cm (Width x Height x Length) were collected in each lot in a total of 3 lots in the municipality of Varginha-MG, specified as class C, according to the ABNT standard NBR 6136: 2016, which were tested by visual analysis, dimensional analysis, water absorption and compressive strength. From the analysis obtained through the laboratory tests it was possible to verify that most of the blocks do not meet the minimum specifications, presenting non-conformity in the parameters evaluated. It is concluded that the blocks using aggregate of construction waste (RCD) manufactured in the city of Varginha-MG do not meet the parameters that the current Brazilian standard requires for class C and probably are compromising the quality of the production of the masonry.
