Abstract

This course completion work will address a more advanced research on the proposed theme and a preliminary study for the support center in the city of Paraguaçu in Minas Gerais. The elderly in Brazil today are gaining more quality of life, taking care of themselves and participating in a more active life, seeking to meet more people, practicing physical and mental exercises. All research carried out on the elderly population in Brazil and in the world clarified doubts during the project that follows. In this work will be shown an accessible preliminary study, where the elderly is autonomous within the internal and external environment, in addition to providing the integration of the building to the surroundings and the open square. Thus the project follows with the research methodology and a preliminary study.
