Abstract

This paper addresses the importance of budgeting in the process of revitalizing Dom Otávio Square in Turvolândia-MG. Such an approach is necessary for a better understanding of the work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of the budget and its phases in the process of revitalization of public works, its importance in the planning, costing and execution of these works, analysis of documents, tables and spreadsheets. This will be achieved through research on the work in Dom Otávio square. The research showed that the bidding budget process is extremely important because it is thanks to it that public works have transparency, public coffers spend less, the population benefits from job creation and improvement of public infrastructure.
