O A EDUCAÇÃO DE ALUNOS SURDOS NO INTERIOR DE MINAS GERAIS: reflexões de um ex-aluno

Abstract

The work presented here is the autobiographical narrative of the process of school insertion in the Minas Gerais public education of a deaf student who is now a student of Pedagogy. The objective of this monograph is to share through autobiographical narrative research the experience as a deaf student and with that contribute to the sensitization, reflection and who knows restructuring the education of deaf people in the regular public education, from the difficulties and failures found in the process of teaching / with unformed teachers in sign language. The autobiographical research has become relevant, because like this student, other deaf and other interested educational agents can identify and rethink their practice as well as their own learning. This research format has become popular because it allows the author and his reader to establish a favorable dialogue for the construction of new knowledge. The autobiographical narrative research is one that tells the reader a clipping of facts or situations lived by the author, with the intention of motivating, sensitizing, exposing, provoking their conceptions and beliefs about the problem. The student presents the failures, difficulties and losses in learning. It reports that it has lagged in specific content, in the written use and production of the Portuguese language and in the development of logical-mathematical intelligence, as well as the feeling of frustration during the education process in regular public education.
