CONCRETO ARMADO: Patologias na estrutura de uma edificação residencial

Abstract

The objective of this work is to investigate the pathological manifestations found in concrete structures of a single-family residential building and its causes with the purpose of analyzing them, diagnosing them based on the acquired knowledge and presenting a real case study. Initially, a bibliographic review on the subject was carried out in order to introduce the theme and explain the main types of pathologies found in buildings. Subsequently, the study site was chosen, a single-family residential building built in 1989 where pathologies such as cracks, cracks and crevices were found. The last maintenance carried out by the owner was in 2010. The building was built by a foreman and the owner, so it did not have the influence of a professional in the area or the elaboration of a project. Thus, a case study was carried out to explain the pathologies, to study the way it occurred and possible repair of this structure.
