SISTEMAS DE PLANEJAMENTO E CONTROLE DE PRODUÇÃO (PCP)

Abstract

The various changes that have taken place on the world stage have led organizations to seek an increase in their flexibility. Production Planning and Control (PCP) is the sector of the company that is most sensitive to the necessary changes in order to increase agility and malleability. Production Planning and Control Systems are tools that emerged with the objective of assisting the function of the CFP department in this search for flexibility. PCP systems make the connection between the dynamics of the shop floor, the planning environment and its implementation. It is a critical factor for meeting the needs and expectations of companies. The PCP system needs to be integrated with other support systems for company functions. The objective of this work is to propose a systematization for the integrated implementation of PCP systems. This proposal was applied in a simulated organizational environment, called the Factory.
