O TRIBUNAL DO JÚRI VISTO SOB UMA ÓTICA CONSTITUCIONAL: justiça ou impunidade?

Abstract

The present work studies the Jury Tribunal viewed from a constitutional perspective. It is justified by demonstrating the implications that this institute brings to society and throughout the Brazilian legal system. This work seeks to understand in more depth the didactics of the Jury Tribunal system, to discuss how decisions can be influenced taking into account media issues and the good oratory of mediators and to seek quantitative results about the decisions handed down at the Court of the Jury to see if it is possible that such an institute, even if provided for by the Constitution, does not generate legal uncertainty culminating in a high number of unjust condemnations or acquittals. The study is important for the future legal practice of students of the Bachelor of Law course. The research was developed by different authors dealing with the topic
