EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL: construção da sustentabilidade e de valores sociais na educação infantil

Abstract

This work addresses the theme of Environmental Education, such an approach is justified by the relevance of the theme by identifying whether the importance of the Environment is adequately addressed in the early childhood classrooms and thus verifying how Environmental Education is carried out supporting the work with children, in BNCC and Curriculum Mineiro. The purpose of this study is to define concepts and notions about Environmental Education in the school context. This intent will be achieved by means of a bibliographic review whose methodology used was the hypothetical-deductive method. This is a bibliographic review research that will be carried out by reading scientific works and articles. The documented material, as well as, the respective analyzes will be organized and presented in the form of a scientific article. The analysis highlighted the theme of environmental education in the context of the early childhood classroom and brings an approach that has been little discussed with young children. Because it is about the importance of effective environmental education, both today and for new generations, it is believed that the sooner it is treated in schools, the greater the chance that new generations will acquire good environmental practices and thus pass it on to family members and the community in general, increasing environmental awareness regarding the importance of recycling and proper reuse of waste.
