| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Pesquisa documental, realizada na Unidade Básica de Saúde Dr. João Eugênio do Prado, em Varginha; na qual foi levantado o índice de HPV e câncer de colo uterino, em mulheres que fizeram o exame de Papanicolau no período de janeiro de 1999 até março de 2006. O aspecto de maior relevância para a realização desta pesquisa, foram os fatores genéticos de certos vírus de HPV que têm grande potencial oncogênico e que pode levar mulheres infectadas a mais tarde, desenvolverem o câncer do colo de útero. Os resultados foram demonstrados em forma de gráficos, de acordo com as lesões citológicas relacionadas. Os resultados dos arquivos analisados proporcionaram um estudo do levantamento de mulheres infectadas pelo HPV e àquelas que tiveram câncer do colo de útero, sendo de grande utilidade para médicos e outros profissionais da saúde desta unidade. |
| Abstract: | Documentary research, carried out at the Dr. João Eugênio do Prado Basic Health Unit, in Varginha; in which the index of HPV and cervical cancer was surveyed in women who underwent Pap smears from January 1999 to March 2006. The most relevant aspect for this research was the genetic factors of certain HPV viruses that have great oncogenic potential and that can lead infected women to later develop cervical cancer. The results were shown in graph form, according to the related cytological lesions. The results of the analyzed files provided a study of the survey of women infected with HPV and those who had cervical cancer, being of great use to physicians and other health professionals in this unit. |
