PRODUÇÃO DE ANTISSORO HIPERIMUNE ANTI-ALFA-1- GLICOPROTEÍNA ÁCIDA PARA USO EM DIAGNÓSTICOS IN VITRO PELA TÉCNICA DE TURBIDIMETRIA

Abstract

The determination of alpha-1-acid glycoprotein is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of pathologies in the acute phase and inflammatory processes. However, the production of the reagent can only be carried out by importing the raw material "anti-alpha-1 acid glycoprotein antibody", a fact that increases the cost and makes production difficult. The present work has as objective the production and purification of anti alpha-1-acid glycoprotein antibody. through immunization in rabbits. It is presented as a hypothetical deductive experimental study carried out at Bio Técnica Industry of production and development of kits for and at the University Center of the South of Minas in Varginha (MG). Albino rabbits, young, male, New Zealand breeds with varying weight of 2 2.5 Kg were used in the laboratory and at the Research Center. Variables such as the immunological response of the rabbits, the quantity of the immunological reaction and the quality of the antiserum were studied. Analyzing the results obtained in the experiments, it is concluded that it is possible to produce the reagent for the detection of alpha-1 acid glycoprotein, through the immunization of rabbits, provided that standardization tests of the working reagent for turbidimetry are performed, such as lincarity , endpoint, accuracy, and diluent buffer formulation.
