Abstract

This study discusses how the students of the Youth and Adult Education present on the labor market. Such an approach is justified by the need to understand und on expectations of students who have not had the opportunity to complete their studies in certain age or even dropped out of school children. The objective of this work is to understand the true expectations of these students to the labor market. This purpose will be achieved by literature review on authors such as Freire (1988, 1996; 1997); Costa (2006): Galvão (2004) among others. Research shows that students of the Youth and Adult Education is usually made up of men and women workers, so the work has been the main reason for leaving the school and one of the reasons to come back to it.
