Abstract

This paper addresses the importance of identifying Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) early. Therefore, this subject is necessary, due to the importance of conditions for the overall well-being of the individual. Therefore, with an early intervention we can contemplate the improvement of development. We can observe a series of treatments that get good results. The objectives of this research will be achieved through bibliographical research, through works, in order to bring a well-defined theoretical basis. Therefore, given the importance of the subject addressed, it is necessary to reconsider the importance of early intervention. The possibility of success with the intervention, which improves when initiated in childhood, because the ability that the brain has to learn and reconnect during this phase is good, because brain is still in formation. And when someone has some limited skill, it is indicated to look for other means to upgrade what is underdeveloped. This fact happens due to neuroplasticity, which is the ability of the human brain to adapt to the environment, learning and changing. The research showed that it is possible to obtain significant results in development from early identification.
