EDUCAÇÃO E APRENDIZAGEM: A importância das inteligências múltiplas na construção do saber

Abstract

The contemporary educational context is associated with large and new learning proposals, which aim at the reorganization and structuring of the field of intelligence and the teaching-learning process. Such an approach is due to the fact that the human being has not only a type of intelligence, but a plurality and they can be developed according to Howard Gardner's theory. Based on this assumption, the objective of this work is to analyze Gardner's contributions in the teaching process and the role of the teacher in this context, in which the fragility of the evaluation system is still notorious: it seeks to measure the intelligence of the student through quantitative tests. This purpose will be achieved through the literature review, collecting information from books, articles and other scientific materials. The analysis proved that all children present diversity in their intelligence profile and stressed the importance of using MI as an educator's tool in the process of stimulus and construction of the knowledge.
