Abstract

This paper analyzes and discusses the importance of the annotation of the work card for the procedure of recognition of the right to retirement and other benefits that need direct verification of the card, analyzing and describing the origins of social security, as it is formed in Brazil, he`s legal bases, principles, social security schemes, benefits of the General Security Scheme and the general functioning of the administrative process for the recognition of the employee`s right to retirement. This paper seeks to understand and explain, in a, simple way, what is the role of the work card in the context of Brazilian labor relations, he`s immediate importance both for employment registration, job identification and guarantee of some rights and retirement. Through qualitative, quantitative, descriptive and bibliographic researches, this study seeks to understand and bring in a simple way the real event and the role of the work card for the Brazilian worker. Thus, the present writing is useful, since it is essential for the Brazilian worker to be able to understand the system and works the real need an functions of his documents and how this will influence at the end of his life, when he can finally have his work, rest and enjoy your retirement.
