A IMPORTÂNCIA DA ATUAÇÃO DO PEDAGOGO NO AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR

Abstract

The importance of the role of the educator in the hospital environment is the subject of this study. This approach is justified given the need to guarantee the right to education for all Brazilian children, including those undergoing health treatment. The main objectives of this study are: to define, conceptualize the main notions about the role of educators in the hospital environment and demonstrate the importance of their training of professionals in the face of complex circumstances. This purpose will be achieved through a bibliographic review of works and publications on the subject. The research demonstrated the relevance of pedagogical care in the hospital environment, offering children and adolescents continuity in their studies and opportunities for play. It also highlights the need for greater dissemination of the right to care and, finally, it highlights the need for greater interaction between health professionals, teachers and family members.
