CENTRO DE APOIO E ATENDIMENTO À MULHER: uma proposta de valorização e inovação no atendimento de mulheres vítimas de violência.

Abstract

Violence against women is a structural and historical act that lasts for years, affecting women of all classes, being consolidated around the world. This violence is based on gender and not on race and makes no woman exempt from suffering this type of aggression; within this scenario, the Maria da Penha Law is a milestone in the effort for the visibility of this issue, bringing fruits that contribute to the improvement of this situation. The State assumes responsibility so that it is necessary to create shelter and support networks for women in vulnerable situations and victims of violence. Thus, this work brings a proposal for an architectural project of a Support and Assistance Center for women victims of violence in the city of Machado, MG, with the purpose of creating an adequate place for the reception and recovery of these victims, extending the reception of their sons. For this, theoretical research was carried out on the related themes, analysis and diagnosis of the intervention area and finally the elaboration of the project itself. The architectural proposal aims to create a place of reception, care and recovery for women to recover their self-esteem, autonomy and empowerment, recovering their integrity, with the aim of restarting a life away from the aggressor.
