AVALIAÇÃO DE DADOS RELACIONADOS À TRANFERÊNCIA DE EMBRIÃO NO HARAS DA CANÇÃO NAS ESTAÇÕES DE 2019/2020 E 2020/2021

Abstract

The act of transferring embryos is a highly used biotechnic in the equine market and has been carried out since the 1980s, it has been recognized for the success of its performance in several studs around the world, Brazil is currently one of the world's largest producers of born foals of TE. The versatility of the equine species explains the worldwide development of equine culture, and TE allows for greater advances in the sector in terms of efficiency gains in the reproductive chain and helps in genetic improvement, improving crossbreeding and their breeds. This technique has as its main objective the birth of a greater number of foals per mare/year, having to be careful with the donor and recipient females, also taking care of the condition of the semen used and the correct way to carry out this technique of transference. embryos. The objective of this work was to carry out a literature review related to embryo transfer in horses, in addition to analyzing the data of this biotechnical performed at Haras da Canção, located in the city of Três Pontas/MG at stations 2019/2020 and 2020/2021, reporting the recovery of embryos from different donors and pregnancy rate of recipient animals.
