| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Este trabalho aborda a questão do saneamento básico no Brasil, com enfoque para o esgotamento sanitário no município de Três Pontas/MG. Porém, a realidade encontrada é alarmante, como demonstram os gráficos, tabelas e imagens adiante. O grande objetivo deste trabalho é mostrar a real situação da falta de tratamento de esgoto sanitário em todo o país, mas, principalmente no município de Três Pontas/MG, frisando a poluição do Ribeirão Araras que corta o município. Foram feitas pesquisas, juntamente com uma bióloga, para analisar os impactos ambientais da poluição no Ribeirão Araras, como também pesquisas quantitativas e estudo de casos. O que se conclui é que a situação encontrada é grave. O município de Três Pontas/MG não trata nenhuma gota do esgoto gerado pela população. Toda coleta, transporte e disposição final do esgoto sanitário se dá no Ribeirão Araras, que vem a desaguar em Furnas. Mas, a realidade pode ser mudada. Havendo determinação, investimento e educação ambiental a transformação é certa. Se alguns municípios conseguem tratar 100% do seu esgoto, o município de Três Pontas/MG também consegue. |
| Resumen : | This work addresses the issue of basic sanitation in Brazil, focusing on sanitary sewage in the municipality of TrêsPontas / MG. However, the reality found is alarming, as shown in the graphs, tables and images below.The main objective of this work is to show the real situation of the lack of sanitary sewage treatment throughout the country, but especially in the municipality of TrêsPontas / MG, stressing the pollution of RibeirãoAraras that cuts the municipality. Research was done, together with a biologist, to analyze the environmental impacts of pollution in RibeirãoAraras, as well as quantitative research and case studies. What we conclude is that the situation found is serious. The municipality of TrêsPontas / MG does not treat any drop of the sewage generated by the population. All collection, transportation and final disposal of sanitary sewage occurs in RibeirãoAraras, which is to be discharged in Furnas. But reality can be changed. If there is determination, investment and environmental education the transformation is certain. If some municipalities manage 100% of their sewage, the municipality of TrêsPontas / MG also succeeds. |
