Abstract

The broad changes that humanity has been undergoing, due to the process of globalization in the world, end up making possible a greater commitment of all people. As the distances of time and space decrease, cultures are confronted, differences and social distinctions are confirmed in the public panorama. Education is the reference that the practice of knowing lacks being a method of attitude active and constant. Unequal sociocultural relations often end up producing exclusion of groups with a cultural nature that does not correspond to the dominant ones. Increasingly frequent access to information technology for labor contributed to a reflection on this subject. In order to meet this quota, educational institutions need to review their practices, develop new skills and propose learning strategies that are consistent with the real needs of its clientele. Much is discussed about the important role of the Internet and of distance education as instruments of social change facing an exclusionary reality. The article aims to develop a virtual environment of teaching and learning where users will play the central role, sharing and renewing through their own experience, the knowledge.
