LOGÍSTICA REVERSA DO ÓLEO LUBRIFICANTE USADO OU CONTAMINADO

Abstract

This paper describes how to dispose of used or contaminated lubricating oil (OLUC) and how it is your Reverse Logistics. Such an approach is necessary because burned oil is a very hazardous waste for the health of living beings and contributes directly to the degradation of the environment, as it contains toxic particles. The objective of this study is to detail the process of destination of used or contaminated lubricating oil, showing its life cycle, the types of re-refining used in Brazil. This purpose will be achieved through a bibliographical survey, seeking theoretical knowledge already available, whether in periodicals, books, congress proceedings, standards, digital media files, theses and analysis of the current legislation regarding the subject. The research has shown that the residue burned or contaminated lubricating oil can be reused numerous times and its improper disposal can be controlled through forecasts and statistical data. Through this study it is concluded that the concept of reverse logistics is viable in the lubricants sector and through this, it is possible to reuse an important waste and contribute to one of the great subjects of humanity, sustainability.
