Abstract

This article has as its theme: "Study of the application of techniques in the stock sector to improve the productive process of a textile company". This study sought to improve the target company, thus enhancing its inventory management, as well as raising awareness about the importance of controlling its inventory. It aimed to demonstrate the improvements achieved in the productive process of the textile companies, through the application of techniques in the stock sector. Show techniques and tools for inventory management; Present the benefits of inventory management and its impacts on production; Raise the failures arising from the lack of inventory planning and control. Therefore, a study and application of techniques to improve the production process was carried out, aiming to optimize its inventory management, as well as to make it aware of the importance of controlling its inventories. Thus, a field research was carried out followed by a bibliographical review that "from theoretical references already analyzed, and published by written and electronic means, such as books, scientific articles, web pages pages in order to substantiate the subject in question. Finally, it was verified that controlling the inventory should be one of the basic functions of a company, given its relevance being that the products in stock represent a good part of the capital of the company and have a large share in the costs of the product.
