MELHORIAS NO SETOR DE ARMAZENAMENTO E EXPEDIÇÃO: um estudo de caso em uma multinacional do setor alimentício

Abstract

This paper analyzes the obstacles faced by the separation and dispatch of finished goods in a food multinational, where failures in this process have a direct impact on the quality of delivery to the customer. Such an approach is relevant, because it shows that the organization, as well as the definition of responsibilities, process monitoring and communication are essential for an effective planning that will reflect in an efficient shipping process. The purpose was to analyze the existing process and propose a new flow that would assure good execution of the activities with the increase of the demand, without hiring more people – result that was achieved. The study was based on the action- research method performed through data collection and the researchers' experience in the process. From the evidences of failures and problems, actions were proposed in order to provide bottleneck reduction, optimization of time and improvements in the whole process, results can be observed at the end of the article.
