COMPLEXO CULTURAL DE ARTES E OFÍCIOS DE CAMPANHA: Política do Reuso para o Bem Cultural Correio Velho, no Centro Histórico

Abstract

The present work of architecture and urbanism discusses the policy of safeguarding of fallen assets and presents as a form of reuse the expansion of the cultural good Correio Velho. In the first moment, the themes about the patrimony will be discussed, then the architecture focused on the Cultural Center, which will be the final proposal of this work. Data and works will be collected on both themes, as well as an analysis of the object of study and, finally, the conceptual ideas of the proposal of magnification. The project will be held in the city of Campanha, Minas Gerais, in the historical center listed, more precisely at Rua Vital Brasil, number 194. The object of study, Correio Velho is a building listed by the Municipal Council of Cultural Heritage of the Campaign, but by the lack of use and degradation is being lost. The extension of this building will bring much needed artistic and cultural support in the city. At the moment the artistic and cultural groups do not have adequate spaces of learning, rehearsal and presentation. Therefore, the place where the project will take place has great value for proposal because it is in the center of the city and has considerable historicity, which makes people have a link with historical building that will house the much needed activities of leisure and culture for all .
