ESTRUTURA DE CONCRETO ARMADO: estudo comparativo entre lajes maciças e lajes nervuradas em edifícios multifamiliares

Abstract

This article demonstrates a comparative study between massive slabs and ribbed slabs in multifamily buildings. Such an approach is necessary to assist the professional or entrepreneur in making decisions about which system to use. The purpose of this study is to make a quantitative and qualitative comparison between the two types of slab. This task will be achieved by conducting a case study in a multifamily construction, for which the design of the structure will be calculated with the aid of Cypecad software for the two types of systems and a comparison will be made of the results as pillars, volume of concrete, steel, shapes, and displacement of the structural element with the values of the arrows. The analysis of the results shows the differences between the use of the construction models conferring advantages of the use of the slab ribbed on the massive slab, nevertheless the availability of labor should be analyzed.
