Abstract

In this work of conclusion of course, the theme culture is approached. The theme used is represented and analyzed through a project of a cultural center in the city of Boa Esperança - MG. At first, the need for spaces that meet a demand for cultural activities is discussed, since the reality of the city reflects in lack of spaces with infrastructure to meet this need. The project, therefore, would serve as a support to fulfill this objective, with research based on several theories of architecture, such as Le Corbusier and Edson Mahfuz, themes on culture and the city of Marilene Chaui. To meet the particularities of the project, the diagnosis of the immediate environment oriented to define the program beyond the concept and party. In this way, it was defined through constructive systems, application of strategies of comfort and technology, seeking to reach, through the architectural objective, the pertinent form based on the theories of architecture discussed for the finalization of TCC2.
