| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Com o crescimento da vida em sociedade, cresce também a quantidade de resíduos gerados e também o impacto destes resíduos no meio ambiente. Se faz necessário dar destinação adequada a estes resíduos a fim de reduzir os impactos ambientais e dar condições de uso dos recursos naturais também às cidades circunvizinhas. Estações de tratamento de esgoto - E.T.E.s - são edificações construídas basicamente de concreto que tem por objetivo o tratamento do esgoto gerado por uma comunidade. O esgoto, ao passar por tratamento, gera um conjunto de gases que em sua maioria são agressivos ao concreto. O presente trabalho é a conclusão de um estudo visando a identificação de um revestimento eficaz a um bom custo, visando aumentar a resistência desse concreto à corrosão causada por este biogás. |
| Abstract: | As life in society grows, so does the amount of waste generated and the impact of this waste on the environment. Proper disposal of these wastes is necessary in order to reduce environmental impacts and provide conditions for the use of natural resources to surrounding cities. Wastewater treatment plants are buildings constructed primarily of concrete that aim to treat community-generated wastewater. The sewage, when undergoing treatment, generates a set of gases that are mostly aggressive to concrete. The present work is the conclusion of a study aimed at identifying a cost effective coating, to increase the resistance of this concrete to corrosion caused by this biogas. |
