DIREITO À DIGNIDADE: Centro de Acolhimento Temporário e Apoio a População em Situação de Rua

Abstract

Starting from the study of the urban subject living on the street, the present work is in the search and understanding of the culture of life on the streets and the functioning of reception for this population, which is frequently ignored, stigmatized and invisible before society. Its main focus is the creation of an architectural project capable of reaching the individuals who find themselves in a street situation, and it meets the declaration of human rights where every human being has the right to a standard of living capable of assuring himself and his family health and well-being, including food, clothing, housing, medical care and indispensable social services. From this, considering the profiles, everyday and ways of life of this population in street situation, establishes as proposal, the relationship of the individual with the place, aiming temporary and also permanent reception, besides immediate assistance to the street population.
