Abstract

Psychomotricity significantly contributes to the formation and structuring of the body scheme, as its main objective is to encourage the practice of movement in all stages of life. This movement enables the child's individual expression through activities, creating, interpreting and relating to the world around them. The main objective of this study was to analyze the importance of psychomotricity in learning in Kindergarten and early years, the psychomotor activity helps children to know their body and the notion of what they can do. Thus, it has been associated with development in the learning process, in addition to being used to benefit the physical and mental development of children. Thus, we conclude that this work significantly contributed to the debate about the development and learning of children, ensuring favorable learning situations.
