CENTRO CULTURAL AFRO-BRASILEIRO EM ALFENAS

Abstract

This study has as theme the implantation of a Culture Center in Alfenas downtown with the objective of intensify the culture activity and the right to culture as individual, rescuing in counterpoint to the afro-brazilian indentity. The relevance of the research begins in the social, urban and moral pressuposition aimed at discussing the point of view territorial-physical of black people and their culture in the brazilian cities and how they are interconnected to the diversified culture, since the lack of black architectural representativeness is partially present. Having as object of study, the city Historic Center, by means of literary research and diagnosis deal with the relation of the right to culture interconnected to the vivence of the central plaza as inductor of diversity, belonging and, understanding the culture importance as individual moral value in historical buildings. Thereby, it is elaborated throughout the research, a theoretical basis that defends the proposal of a public project that will constitute the cultural center for the city of Alfenas.
