Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of the right to information in relation to patients with celiac disease and its consequences. In addition, it provides a brief explanation of what is gluten and celiac disease, the concept of the Equality Principle, the effectiveness of Law No. 10,674/2003 and the applicability of the planned provisions of the Consumer Protection Code front to holders of pathology in comment. Thus, it should be noted that the main objective of this is to clarify the right to effective, clear and coherent information for patients with celiac disease, as this right is essential for maintaining the health of these, as well as to point out that failure to observe this will cause in under the law, the duty to indemnify.
